TCLP/RCRA Characterization

Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphase wastes.  TCLP methodology is used to estimate leaching potential in order to accurately estimate the quantity of chemicals that could potentially reach ground or surface-water resources.

Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) is a program to track hazardous waste to prevent inadequate hazardous waste management.  RCRA regulates the handling of hazardous waste from creation to disposal.

ESG Laboratories applies methods SW846 3010A, 1311, 6010B, 7470A, 8081A, 8151A, 8260B and 8270C in analysis of TCLP/RCRA.  All samples are collected, handled, prepared and analyzed in accordance with USEPA 40 CFR Part 136 as amended.
