Semi-Volatiles

Semi-Volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) are organic chemical compounds whose composition makes it possible for them to volatilize under normal indoor atmospheric conditions of temperature and pressure.  However, semi-volatile compounds are the least likely compounds to volatilize.  SVOCs will have boiling points above 240 °C.

ESG Laboratories applies methods SW846 8270, EPA 625 and EPA 1671 for analysis of semi-volatile organic compounds.  All samples are collected, handled, prepared and analyzed in accordance with USEPA 40 CFR Part 136 as amended.
