Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) are man-made chemicals that belong to a family of chemicals known as chlorinated hydrocarbons. PCBs were manufactured in the U.S. from 1929 until 1979, when their manufacture was banned due to environmental and health concerns.

Pesticides can be found in many locations homes, businesses, farms, schools.  Pesticide are found in many products, such as insect repellants, weed killers, disinfectants, and swimming pool chemicals.  They are designed to prevent, destroy, repel or reduce pests of any sort.
